Former NBA referee, James Capers, Sr., has offered is services to the PBA (Philippines Basketball Association) to train their referees.
This is nothing new for Capers, as he conducted clinics in Manila in 1979, 1981, 1983, and 1994. Capers will use the skills he gained as a group supervisor in the NBA to better the evolving officiationg philosophy in the PBA.
Capers is the father of current NBA referee, James Capers, Jr., and was an NBA referee for 23 years.
