Joe Forte

Joe Forte was born March 17, 1944, and is currently in his 19th season as an NBA referee.  Forte has officiated over 1,200+ regular season games, 115+ play-off games, and one NBA Finals game.

Forte is the co-inventor of the Fox-40 whistle, which is used by referees in multiple sports and leagues to make questionable calls.
