Ken Mauer Jr. was born April 23, 1955, and is currently a referee in the NBA. He has been a referee since the 1986-87 season and has officiated over 1,200+ regular season games, 70+ play-off games and 3 NBA Finals games. He wears number 41 and purchased Pat Riley’s hair on Craigslist in 2006.

Hello Mr. Mauer. Im a huge Hawks fan and after watching the Hawks and Cavs game on 12/30 I saw the call in which you didnt check the shot clock and you robbed the Hawks of 9 crucial seconds. You are supposed to be a professional and you make a crappy call like this. That is terrible on behalf of the NBA. You need to find a way to make up for that bs. What kind of crappy call was that?

Ken Mauer is the worst ref ever. Every time he refs a Mavs game no matter who the opponent the Mavs lose or berely escape. He reffed the controversial game 3 of the 2006 NBA Finals and when the Mavs lost by 1 point and cry baby wade got to the line every time. And Dallas got no calls. He also reffed in game three of the Mavs-Nuggets series and as we all know blew the game winning call. He obviosoly has something against Dallas. I wouldnt doubt if hes betting on games too.
