Leon Wood

Osie Leon Wood, III, was born March 25, 1962, and is currently a referee in the NBA. He has officiated 600+ regular season games and 3 play-off games.
Prior to becoming an NBA referee, Wood was a shooting guard in the NBA. He was chosen 10th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1st round of the 1984 draft. During his career, he played for the 76ers, Bullets, Nets, Spurs, Hawks and Kings. He played in 274 games in his career and won a gold medal as a member of the 1984 US Olympic basketball team.
When not officiating, Wood helps train younger officials, which is unfortunate.

Hi Leon,
Been what too many years since our days at Cal-State Fullerton. I know you’ve met many people in those passing years, and could easily have forgotten me and my name, while it’s been easy to follow your career – even enjoying watching you officiate. I also know I’ll forget the spelling, but we had a mutual friend, Sue Bagalski. She was your girlfriend while I was dating/living with Laurie Jakemer (a top volleyball player). I knew Sue from playing on the tennis team.
Anyway, hope this gets to you and your interested in getting in touch. If not, I’ll remember some of the fun we had in college.
Best to you,
Rick
Hi Leon,
Not sure if you remember me from when you played with the Sixers. I was attending Widener University and we went on a few dates. I just wanted to catch up with you if you feel like it. You can check me out on Facebook. Theresa Felice Tucker Lee.
Hope to hear from you!
Take care!
