The William H. Miller Scholarship is a scholarship fund at Surry County High School, in Surry, VA. Olandis played football at Surry High for Coach Miller. Thanks for honoring our late Football Coach by disgracing the scholarship his family and former players work so hard to fund in his honor.

Is this the same Orlandis Poole that played college basketball @ Newport News Apprentice School? Probably around 1988 1989 era. He was a good college player and we had a lot of tough games against them when I played @ Ferrum College. Thanks. Good luck Mr. Poole with the NBA officiating. Andre’ Levisy

Ok, clearly this entire site is done in jest, take a joke Pat. I would assume that the people who put this site together have limited tidbits of information they get on each guy/girl and have to think of something funny to do with it, they chose the Scholarship for Olandis. If you have a funnier tidbit they can replace it with, I suggest emailing it in instead of being a wet blanket

Good job overreacting on Melo’s T. Even NBA doesn’t have your back.

Yes, this is the Olandis Poole that is related to the folks in Smithfield area–really Surry ,Virginia who own the funeral home. He is the son of Rosa Mae and the late Melvin Poole. Aunt Laura Poole is also his great aunt who lived in walking distance where Olandis lived.
