Ron Garretson was a referee who officiated the CBA league to begin his career. He was horrible then and I told him the only way he would get to be an NBA official was because his dad was the head of the NBA officials. The next year his dad promoted him. He cost the Wyoming Wildcatters a spot in the playoffs the last year I was one of the owners because he hated me so much.
