Haven’t seen Javie in weeks…vacation?…injured?…suspended?…fired???
I have not seen Steve’s name showing for any of the NBA game results recently. Is he still an NBA referee? If he is can you explain why his name has not appeared?
I believe that he is out with a knee injury.
Is Steve Javie OK ??? He is one of our favorite ref. The last time we saw him he was very thin. I hope he is ok/
Knee injury? He has been gone 4-5 months now. Must be really serious?
What has happened to Steve Javie?
No he is not a douchebag. He is the best referee working in the game today, hands down. He is down the line fair.
Steve javie is the worst NBA Referee i have ever seen!!!! Four technicals and an ejection of garnet tonight as well as the ejection of doc rivers!!!
Javie, You need to retire you bastard….you ruin games and give refs in the NBA a really bad name you asshole!!!
You must be a phoenix Sun fan you SOB….can’t stand a ref on the take (Dirty Ref).!!!!!!
I haved wanted to meet and ask Javie for my help as he is one of the best and my favorite along with old man Bavetta. I have tried and wanted to work in the NBA since the 90′s
YAY ill be serve to serve up an ejection from my games too!!maybe serve up a couple of technicals
I met Steve Javie when he first broke into the NBA in 1986-87 at a Detroit Piston Exhibition Scrimmage in Windsor, Ontario. He was bothy friendly and articulate. Still me favourite referee today.
It would be great to hear from Steve Javie himself. I guess as a referee myself, I realize how difficult his job would be and Iwould ask him how he started and what he did to get to the level of the NBA.
