Tony Brown

Tony Brown was born January 2, 1967, and is currently an NBA referee. He has officiated over 220+ regular season games and is one of only 3 active officials to have worked in all 3 leagues associated with the NBA family. Hey Tony,
A short note to tell you how much I enjoyed our conversation during the Portland to Salt Lake City flight on the 30th of October.
Best wishes for a successful season and playoffs.

Yo, Tony… man I thought that was you a few weeks ago while either at the Hawks game or either while watching a game on television. Good to see you are doing well. I take it that you dont play ball anymore.
Take care and continue to stay BLESSED.
PS. I will still take you to the basket and BAM on you though. Used to play with you at Ralph McGill, Run and Shoot, Sportslife… wow all over the ATL.
hey Tony
Man good to see you are doing that thing in the league. I’m your boy from Plant City (we played a little ball together @ FAMU). You were a bad boy then, CONGRATS!! I’m in Tampa, and would love to check out one of your games. I guess your assignments aren’t announced until right before games.
Just wanted to say hello. I was just checking out the NBA website. Take care.
Tony,
Whats up it’s Allan that worked at Avrils Car wash you know the place you would bring your clean car to get washed every day you were not on the road. Is that place still opened? Lost your number and contact with you when I moved back to Tallahassee in 2006. Hope everything is going well for you and hope to see you at a game when you are close. Thanks again for hooking me up as a Ref for local games around Atlanta it was fun. Drop an email some time it would be good to get back in contact with you.

Hey Tony Brown it is 8:41 PM on March 26, 2010 and I am watching you do a terrible job of officiating the Bobcats-Wizards game. You allowed Stephen Jackson to inbound a ball while he was sitting ont he floor with his feet inbounds and called nothing you accused Andray Blatche of stepping on the line when he was clearly inside and nullifying a basket…Overall I am trying to let you know that YOU SUCK !!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!!! I heard you were a ref for the NBA. Far cry from playing at Godby High School….How are you??
What an asshole you are! I can’t believe you ejected Pop for challenging your piss poor officiating in San Antonio. Find another job you worthless POS!
Hey Tony,
How are you? I hope you and your family are doing well. Take care.

Yo ANT…how has it been going for yourself all these years?? I spoke to Jeff-our outstanding left handed point guard from our Godby days- and he mentioned he was having lunch with you recently while you were in Atlanta. I will certainly look for you more when I am watching games….we sure had some good competitive battles back in our hooping days and am glad to see you are doing great it appears some 20+ years later. I am sure you still got some skillz no doubt!!!
Anthony, I’m not sure if or when you will read this….But I hope to see you soon. I told Melvin to ask to call me so we can catch…
Happy Birthday Ant! And many more, God Bless You and your family!
