Bernie Fryer

Bernie Fryer was born December 25, 1949 and is a former NBA referee.  He officiated in the NBA for 28 seasons and is only 1 of 3 former NBA players to become an NBA official.  He officiated over 1,600+ regular season games, 140+ play-off games and 11 NBA Finals games.

Fryer currently serves as Director of Officials for the NBA.

Bernie will rock you like a hurricane.

hey bernie, can’t believe you worked 28 seasons in the nba…course with the experience u gained watching the fiob 9 [FORKS INVITATIONAL OFFICALS BB] do their thing, u couldn’t miss.. gad those were the days,,,fun,fun fun,, i’m still working jv and jr hi football bb games and varsity fast pitch ( 54 yrs). is dad still with us..he.s quite a guy….always enjoyed the trips to pa to see him and syd…saw bruce several times before he passed…sad….would love to hear from u….jack
